License Agreement

Licensed Music

Any audio file (WAV, stems, or alternate versions) downloaded from readysounds.com under a valid license.

Individual License

A license granted to a single individual content creator, available by annual subscription ($79/year) or per-track purchase ($10/track).

Business License

A license granted to a business or organization for commercial use, available by annual subscription ($1,299/year) or per-track purchase ($125/track).

Licensee

The individual or entity that has purchased and is using the license.

End Use

A finished project (video, podcast, advertisement, etc.) that incorporates the Licensed Music.

Subject to payment and compliance with this Agreement, Ready Sounds grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to use the Licensed Music as follows:

Permitted Uses

• YouTube videos (monetized and non-monetized)
• Podcasts (monetized and non-monetized)
• Social media content (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and similar platforms)
• Personal and passion projects
• Content that earns revenue via ads, sponsorships, or affiliate links
• Editing, remixing, and modifying the music and stems for the above purposes
• Unlimited projects within the scope of this license

Prohibited Uses

• Paid client work or commercial projects on behalf of a business
• Broadcast television or radio
• Theatrical film releases with box office distribution
• Redistributing, reselling, or sublicensing the music files
• Claiming authorship of the music
• Including the music in a competing music library or subscription service

License Scope

• Licensee: The purchasing individual only — not transferable
• Territory: Worldwide
• Term: Perpetual for content created during an active subscription or at time of per-track purchase
• Attribution: Not required

Subject to payment and compliance with this Agreement, Ready Sounds grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to use the Licensed Music as follows:

Permitted Uses

• All uses covered by the Individual License
• Commercial advertisements distributed via digital channels (web, social media, streaming platforms)
• Corporate videos, presentations, and internal communications
• Business websites and digital marketing campaigns
• Client deliverables for digital distribution
• Product demonstrations and promotional content
• Multi-user access within the licensed organization

Prohibited Uses

• Broadcast television or radio commercials
• Theatrical film releases with box office distribution
• Transferring or sublicensing to other businesses or organizations
• Redistributing or reselling the music files
• Claiming authorship of the music

License Scope

• Licensee: The purchasing business/organization — not transferable to other entities
• Territory: Worldwide (digital distribution only)
• Term: Perpetual for content created during an active subscription or at time of per-track purchase
• Attribution: Not required

All Licensed Music remains the exclusive intellectual property of Ready Sounds and its composers. This Agreement grants usage rights only — no ownership of the music or its copyright is transferred to the Licensee.

The Licensee may not register copyright in any Licensed Music, including remixes or derivatives based on the Licensed Music.

Licenses for music downloaded during an active subscription are perpetual — content you create while subscribed remains licensed even after your subscription ends or is cancelled.

Upon subscription cancellation or expiration, you may no longer download new tracks, but all previously licensed music and completed End Uses continue to be covered.

Per-track purchases carry an identical perpetual license with no subscription dependency.

Uses not covered by Individual or Business licenses — including broadcast television, radio, theatrical film, or exclusive licensing — require a custom agreement. Contact us to discuss:

• Broadcast TV and radio rights
• Theatrical film and wide-release distribution
• Exclusive or semi-exclusive licenses
• White-label or custom music creation

Ready Sounds warrants that it has the right to grant the licenses described in this Agreement and that the Licensed Music does not, to the best of our knowledge, infringe any third-party copyright.

THE LICENSED MUSIC IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL READY SOUNDS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE LICENSED MUSIC. READY SOUNDS' MAXIMUM LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE LICENSEE FOR THE APPLICABLE LICENSE.

Ready Sounds may terminate this license immediately upon written notice if the Licensee materially breaches this Agreement (for example, by redistributing music files or using music outside the permitted scope).

Upon termination, the Licensee must cease all use of the Licensed Music and delete all downloaded files. Completed End Uses created prior to the breach may, at Ready Sounds' discretion, be permitted to continue.
